Show 368: Michelle Woerdeman ~ MBW Living Podcast Show
Wednesday Aug 05, 2020
Wednesday Aug 05, 2020
I love the way Michelle and I talk about the ways we use our voices to educate people in this episode! We really dive into Michelle's coaching, new podcast, and Boot Camp for your Mind experience.
Michelle encourages people to take inventory of their lives, emotionally and physically and if they are not satisfied with the results, then they are the ones in control and can surely change it.
Michelle and I really loved talking about being aware of our thoughts by being kind to ourselves, removing judgment, and recognizing any negative self-talk.
One of my favorite moments in our talk today is how to take action, even when you don’t want to, because of that pesky thing we call fear. MBW Living

Show 360: Regina Podesta ~ You And Me Toxic Free
Tuesday May 26, 2020
Tuesday May 26, 2020
It was a very-much needed second interview with good friend Regina Podesta, Pure Haven Consultant. The pleasure was all mine to be able to continue the discussion on how she helps her clients create a home environment that supports the health and wellbeing of themselves and generations to come.
Regina explains how her progression from the fitness industry to becoming environmentally aware is very similar to what we all go through in the world today. We talked about how as a culture, our awareness has been heightened beyond the importance of regular exercise and how vital it is to achieve overall good health. Regina and I talk about how we have both realized that not all foods are created equal, to the fact that many labels on our foods and products are not telling the whole truth. Ultimately the conversation led us to the discussion of how it’s affecting us long and short term with things like skin issues, allergic reactions, cancer, infertility, and behavioral disabilities.
I was so blessed and considered myself honored to hear Regina express the importance of this new state of awareness about diving deeper into ingredients by actually talking with our wallets’ is how and when real change will actually begin to happen.

Show 358: Fran Lambert ~ Lambert and Lambert Coaching
Tuesday May 12, 2020
Tuesday May 12, 2020
Fran Lambert with Lambert and Lambert Coaching was such an inspirational guest! And Fran kicked off the show by sharing her very personal story of how painful it was to grow up always being the biggest kid. Fran talked about how kids “can’t process different” and how her childhood experience helped begin to shape her young adult life.
Meeting people where they’re at is a huge part of Fran’s mission and we talked about how important sustainable weight loss is, but also how finding the ideal weight is such a different journey for each person. I loved how Fran said that if she had to pick one word that is the most important during any transformational process that her word would be “believe” and it was so funny to hear that she has a “movement menu!” I loved that!
Fran was very open about sharing some details about the traumatic brain injury she received from a car accident over four years ago and how extremely grateful she was to be able to join her daughter in her Arbonne business so that she could transition back to work and embrace a new normal. Throughout the interview we were both on the same page of the importance of self-care and that exercising is just a part of her 30 days to healthy living program—which is in complete alignment with the Arbonne message.
I was so impressed with Fran and we both agreed that it’s the small changes that we each make along our journey and being open-minded enough to identify and make those small changes one at a time is key. When Fran said that she asks all of her clients if they could wave a magic wand…. I loved her answer!!!

Show 357: Nicole Perry ~ Love Diet Chapter 1 part 2
Monday May 04, 2020
Monday May 04, 2020
When the idea came to me to start this journey, I had no idea where it would take me. All I knew was that I needed to change what I was doing. Period. I was not healthy. And I wasn’t loving myself nearly as much as I could have.
So, why did I continue to write and stay on this journaling path, even when many times I wasn’t placing myself in a good light? Because I was sick. And in order to save my own soul I knew I had to strip away what I had consciously learned over the years as well as what I had subconsciously absorbed through my environment. I knew there was no other choice but to start over.
Albeit there were a few health concerns within my body when my journey began, I was still not feeding myself nearly enough love. Somehow deep in my core I knew by sharing my story, and putting my thoughts into the written word, would indeed be one of the greatest lessons in my life. But more importantly, it would be the greatest gift I would ever give to myself.

Show 351: Helen Shiner ~ The Shiner Group Real Estate
Monday Apr 27, 2020
Monday Apr 27, 2020
Helen Shiner, owner of The Shiner Group, talks about her boutique brokerage style in our interview—which is based on building long-lasting relationships—and not pushing sales to hit numbers.
I knew Helen was going to bring such a great amount of knowledge and professionalism to the table and her mission to build a trusted brand is why she emphasized that actively seeking agents to join her firm—has to be 100% the right fit. If an individual is in alignment with her compassionate, professional and courteous overall brand and vision, she said she openly welcomes newcomers to their team.
When Helen brought up how many people in her industry will automatically shy away from the millennial generation—Helen said she loves working with them because they just work in different ways. And her passion to serve the people in her community, is why she typically services generations within the family’s and relationships that she organically cultivated.
Helen’s compassion came through when she talked about how the city of Quincy designated her office as the primary emergency center for families in need during the March storms of 2018—and how being able to support her community in such a profound way is exactly why she decided to open her own boutique brokerage of Realtors at The Shiner Group.
