Tuesday Oct 08, 2019
Tuesday Oct 08, 2019
It was so great to interview Cathie Briggette, co-founder of Herself360 for a second time!
Cathie shared briefly that she was raised in Massachusetts and spent most of her career in Technology and Marketing and in 2017 after marching in the Women’s March on Washington it was her dream to combine her experience with technology and somehow support women, which she does now on a global media platform and digital magazine.
Cathie talks about the importance of creating a community where women can share their voices and stories to encompass, engage and support one another.
Herself360 was created because the co-founders felt there was a need for women to share their extraordinary stories. The magazine is about love, faith, strength, and support. It is about having each other’s back and sharing in the richness of our diversity, commonness, and uniqueness.
Herself360 is reaching women where they are and continuing to put great stories out into the world. Herself360.com would like you to “Join the Circle”. We are always looking for members, advertisers, and writers.
Cathie is also a mom, grandmother, sister, daughter, and wife.

Show 322: Laurie O'Neil ~ Graceful Woman Warrior
Tuesday Sep 03, 2019
Tuesday Sep 03, 2019
I couldn’t wait to interview Laurie O’Neil, Licensed Independent Social Worker and co-author of Graceful Woman Warrior: A Story of Mindfully Living in The Face of Dying.
When Laurie shared how she didn’t even blink an eye when she promised to publish her dying niece's story, I was even more intrigued.
Despite never having published a book, Laurie said that the reason it was an easy decision to make was that she knew this was her mission—to help others recognize the power of story in the healing process.
Having lost her own father at age eight, at a time when grief was not talked about, Laurie expressed her commitment to ensuring that other children are not alone in their grief. Grief is a universal condition, and one of the keys to managing our pain is through the sharing of our loss stories. This allows us to "hold" our grief stories instead of them "holding" us, opening us up to living our best life through loss.
Continuing our discussion, Laurie shared that becoming an author inspired her to create Grace Lessons, a workshop that uses the powerful lessons in Graceful Woman Warrior to help others’ in their grief process.

Show 320: Tammy Longo ~ DoTerra Wellness Advocate
Tuesday Sep 03, 2019
Tuesday Sep 03, 2019
Prior to interviewing Tammy Longo, I knew she had gotten into her business because of a serious health issue in her family but I had no idea how serious it was. After discovering her son had a lump and that it was cancer, Tammy shared in our interview that it wasn’t hereditary.
Tammy talks about how there was no handbook given to her and that her family re-evaluated their health goals. She shared how she did as much as she could to remove the harmful chemical products within her home and how she educated herself by reading all labels. She also cut out most sugar but still—she knew she could do more.
One day, while at her son's hockey game, a friend of Tammy’s was rolling essential oils on her forehead to prevent migraines and Tammy knew at that moment—that there was a reason that essential oils kept coming up in all her research.
Tammy incorporated essential oils into her family’s daily routine, which she attributes to her son's cancer not returning. Naturally, she progressed from being a consumer of essential oils—to teaching others how to use them so they too can live healthier lives.

Show 316: Casey Kerr~ Wing Women Nation
Tuesday Jul 23, 2019
Tuesday Jul 23, 2019
Casey Kerr brought so much insight to the table when talking about her new Women’s Empowerment Community model—Wing Women Nation.
Our conversation was so full of passion when Casey continued to describe how her platform allows women to literally convert their value into real dollars and how the community itself is what expands and monetizes the talents of women by helping to build on our beliefs.
We got a little animated when we talked about what it looks like to be Wired For Our Desires in real life and how much momentum we can generate by doing the work we love with like-hearted women who feel that call to become the version of ourselves we’ve been training for and dying to become.
For more information, you can continue to learn more by visiting Wing Women Nation on Facebook and connect with Casey.

When the idea came to me to start this journey, I had no idea where it would take me. All I knew was that I needed to change what I was doing. Period. I was not healthy. And I wasn’t loving myself nearly as much as I could have.
So, why did I continue to write and stay on this journaling path, even when many times I wasn’t placing myself in a good light? Because I was sick. And in order to save my own soul I knew I had to strip away what I had consciously learned over the years as well as what I had subconsciously absorbed through my environment. I knew there was no other choice but to start over.
Albeit there were a few health concerns within my body when my journey began, I was still not feeding myself nearly enough love. Somehow deep in my core I knew by sharing my story, and putting my thoughts into the written word, would indeed be one of the greatest lessons in my life. But more importantly, it would be the greatest gift I would ever give to myself.
